A healthcare professional is needed to provide specialized nursing care in an educational setting located in Simpsonville, SC. This role focuses on delivering one-on-one nursing support to a small group of students requiring intensive medical attention.

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as a classroom nurse responsible for the health and well-being of 7 students, ages 3-15.
• Provide skilled nursing care to wheelchair-bound children, ensuring their safety and medical needs are met throughout the school day.
• Manage ventilator care with experienced competency.
• Collaborate with educators and staff to support students educational goals while addressing their health requirements.
• Maintain accurate health records and communicate effectively with healthcare providers and families.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Active and valid RN license.
• Proven experience in pediatric nursing, especially working with children who use wheelchairs.
• Competency and hands-on experience with ventilator care.
• Ability to maintain a calm and professional demeanor in a classroom environment.
• Strong communication skills to coordinate with multidisciplinary teams.
