Position Overview

We are seeking a Nurse Practitioner to provide comprehensive advanced clinical care, including assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and ongoing management of acute and chronic conditions. This role works closely with physicians and clinical staff to deliver coordinated, patient-centered care with a strong emphasis on prevention, education, and evidence-based practice.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform comprehensive patient evaluations, including histories and physical exams
  • Diagnose and manage acute and chronic health conditions
  • Order, interpret, and follow up on diagnostic testing
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
  • Prescribe medications and therapies within the scope of practice
  • Provide preventive care, screenings, immunizations, and wellness education
  • Educate patients and families on health conditions and treatment options
  • Collaborate with physicians and care teams to coordinate treatment plans
  • Monitor patient progress and adjust care as needed
  • Maintain accurate and timely medical records in EMR systems
  • Ensure compliance with clinical guidelines and regulatory standards
  • Participate in quality improvement and professional development activities

Leadership Responsibilities

  • Provide clinical guidance and mentorship to RNs, LPNs, and medical assistants
  • Assist with onboarding and training of new staff
  • Support quality improvement and performance initiatives

Qualifications

  • Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) from an accredited program
  • Active and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license in Georgia
  • National board certification in relevant specialty (e.g., Family, Adult-Gerontology, Women’s Health)
  • Active RN license in good standing
  • DEA registration and prescriptive authority as required
  • BLS certification required; ACLS preferred depending on specialty
  • Clinical experience preferred; strong new graduates may be considered
  • Experience in women’s health or obstetrics is a plus

Physical Requirements
