The Inventory & Receiving Manager oversees the efficient management of inventory operations and the receiving process to ensure accurate stock levels and timely product availability. This role involves coordinating with suppliers, managing warehouse staff, and maintaining inventory records to support overall supply chain effectiveness.
Responsibilities
- Manage the receiving of incoming shipments, verifying quantities and quality.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and perform regular stock audits.
- Coordinate with suppliers and logistics to optimize delivery schedules.
- Supervise and train receiving and inventory staff to ensure operational efficiency.
- Resolve discrepancies and coordinate corrective actions with relevant departments.
- Implement and maintain inventory management systems and best practices.
- Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards in inventory handling.
- Prepare inventory reports and forecast demand to assist in purchasing decisions.
