Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A contracted Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available in an elementary school located in Bradenton, FL, for the School District of Manatee County. This full-time role supports students in a Title 1 school with a small caseload of approximately 40-50 students.
Responsibilities include providing speech-language therapy services to children across several programs, including an Autism unit, Exceptional Student Education Pre-K (EPK), and Integrated Pre-K classes that serve students with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs). Therapy is designed to address diverse communication needs within these specialized groups.
Key qualifications and experience:
- Valid Florida SLP license required; candidates must hold a Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Candidates currently completing their Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) will be considered.
- Experience working in school-based settings preferred.
- Ability to develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on student assessments.
- Strong collaboration skills to work effectively with educators and support staff.
- No Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) will be considered for this role.
This position is offered on a contract basis covering the current school year, with an expected start date as soon as possible through May 29, 2026.
