As a Special Education Teacher, you will collaborate with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams to create engaging learning experiences that support academic, behavioral, and social-emotional success.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to students' unique needs.
- Provide specialized instruction in accordance with student goals and state standards.
- Monitor student progress and adjust instructional strategies based on data and performance.
- Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, administrators, and families.
- Maintain compliance with special education regulations, documentation, and reporting requirements.
- Create positive, structured learning environments that promote student engagement and independence.
- Participate in IEP meetings, evaluations, and multidisciplinary team discussions.
- Support students with a variety of learning, behavioral, and developmental needs.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education or a related field.
- Valid Minnesota Special Education teaching license.
- Tier 3 or tier 4 certification.
- Experience developing and implementing IEPs.
- Strong classroom management, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Passion for advocating for and supporting diverse learners.

Compensation for this position ranges from $25.00 to $39.00. Eligible candidates may also receive healthcare benefits, housing, and meals/incidentals.
