Position Overview

We are seeking passionate and dedicated ABA/PCA professionals to join our growing team. This role involves delivering 1:1 behavioral support and therapeutic interventions to children with autism and other developmental needs using the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). The ABA/PCA works under the supervision of a BSC and plays a critical role in helping children develop communication, social, and self-regulation skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Implement individualized ABA treatment plans developed by the supervising BSC
  • Support children with behavioral, emotional, and developmental needs across home, clinic, and community settings
  • Teach and reinforce coping strategies, self-help skills, and replacement behaviors
  • Use positive reinforcement, modeling, and trauma-informed care practices
  • Maintain detailed and timely session notes and progress documentation
  • Communicate regularly with parents, caregivers, and clinical supervisors
  • Help children remain focused, calm, and engagedespecially during moments of escalation or crisis
  • Promote skill generalization across environments

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Psychology, Education, Social Work, or a related field (required)
  • Experience supporting children with autism or developmental disabilities (required)
  • Strong understanding and application of ABA strategies and behavior intervention techniques
  • Trauma-informed and culturally competent approach to care
  • Ability to remain calm, engaged, and supportive during behavioral incidents
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
  • High level of integrity, initiative, and organizational awareness
  • Passion for serving diverse communities and making a meaningful impact

Requirements

  • Clearances required before start:
    • FBI Fingerprint Clearance
    • PA Child Abuse Clearance
    • PA Criminal Background Check
  • Reliable transportation to community sites (travel may be required between client homes, clinics, or childcare centers)
