Compensation:
- Monthly Stipend: $1000.00
- Event Compensation: $25 per hour for attendance at approved weekend outreach events
- Quarterly Performance bonus opportunities: based on outreach activities and community engagement
Position Overview
The Client Intake & Outreach Coordinator serves as a key connection between potential clients and the clinic’s services. This role is responsible for guiding new clients through the intake process, verifying insurance eligibility, coordinating scheduling, and representing the clinic within the community.
This position combines client intake coordination, administrative support, and community outreach to ensure individuals seeking mental health services are able to access care efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
Client Intake Coordination
- Provide intake paperwork to prospective clients.
- Follow up with potential clients to ensure all required intake documentation is completed.
- Collect and organize required information for client onboarding.
Insurance Verification
- Verify insurance eligibility and benefits prior to scheduling services.
- Document eligibility information accurately.
Electronic Medical Record (EMR) Management
- Enter new client information into the clinic’s electronic medical record system.
- Ensure all intake documentation is uploaded and properly recorded.
Scheduling Coordination and Support
- Schedule initial client assessments.
- Ensure the client is scheduled for their first appointment with a Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP).
- Communicate with clients regarding appointment details and next steps.
Community Outreach & Brand Representation
- Represent and promote the clinic within the community.
- Inform potential clients and community partners about the services offered by the clinic.
- Distribute informational materials to the community.
- Help increase awareness of the clinic and its services.
Referral Source Development
- Identify and establish relationships with potential referral sources such as community organizations, agencies, schools, churches, or other service providers.
- Introduce the clinic as a referral option for individuals who may benefit from services.
Community Relationship Development
- Help build connections with community organizations such as:
- Foster care agencies
- Schools
- Churches
- Medical providers
- Social service organizations
Event Participation
- Attend approved weekend or community outreach events as a representative of the clinic.
- Engage with community members and provide information about the clinic’s services.
Qualifications
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Organized and detail-oriented
- Comfortable interacting with public and community organizations
- Ability to manage confidential client information
- Basic computer skills and ability to learn electronic medical record systems
- Reliable communication and follow-through
