**General Laborer - $17/Hour - Start ASAP**
Join a leading manufacturer of custom cabinets where every candidate begins in the trim department with opportunities for advancement across various departments. You will gain hands-on experience and skills as you rotate through four key departments, contributing to the production process.
Responsibilities
- Follow job instructions and inspect own work process carefully.
- Maintain work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition following prescribed safety regulations.
- Orbital sand edge of doors and headers (Edge Sanding).
- Inspect loose components and repair as needed (Mid Inspect).
- Catch panels off panel sander (Panel Catch).
- Hang components onto a paint line.
- Install hinges onto doors (Hinging).
- Measure components, correspond order form with product, install shelves, roll tray tracks, and inner components (Trim).
- Screw in roll tray tracks, hang doors, install drawers (Door Hanger).
- Package finished cabinet into cardboard box (Boxing).
- Quickly remove stain from front and back of each component by going with the grain of the wood (First Wiper).
- Remove excess glaze on face of each component, allow glaze to remain in natural areas of the doors.
Skills & Qualifications
- Production experience in a fast-paced environment.
- General labor skills.
- Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools.
- Ability to measure accurately using a tape measure.
- Woodworking and cabinet making skills.
- Manual dexterity and attention to detail.
- Ability to lift 30 lbs.
- 6 months of previous work experience.
- Pass the tape measure test.
- Ability to keep up with training in a fast-paced environment.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $17.00/hr.
