Industrial Machine Operator - 2nd Shift
2:00 PM - 10:00 PM/ Monday - Friday
(Must be open to train in 1st shift)
$19.56/hr training rate; $20.93/hr once fully trained (2nd shift)
A packaging and industrial products manufacturer is looking for an experienced Industrial Machine Operator - 2nd Shift to join our fast-paced production team. This position is responsible for operating and monitoring industrial machinery, ensuring product quality, maintaining safety standards, and accurately completing required production documentation using company systems. Industrial Machine Operator - 2nd Shift Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor industrial production machinery
- Perform machine adjustments and minor repairs as needed
- Read and interpret product specifications and make necessary equipment changes
- Use measuring instruments and hand tools to ensure product accuracy and quality
- Accurately complete production reporting using company computer systems (BPCS, TWI, Pi, Filemaker, NWA)
- Follow written and verbal instructions
- Maintain safety standards and adhere to workplace safety procedures at all times
Industrial Machine Operator - 2nd Shift Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year experience operating industrial machinery in a manufacturing environment
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Ability to read and write in English
- Basic math and computer skills
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities
- Experience using hand tools and measuring instruments
- Understanding of glue and wax applications preferred
- Knowledge of workplace safety procedures
