Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A contract position is available for a skilled School Psychologist to support student development and well-being in a school setting located in Anoka, MN. This role involves comprehensive psychological services that contribute to educational and emotional success for students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological evaluations to assess cognitive, emotional, and behavioral needs of students.
- Provide consultation to teachers, parents, and administrators regarding student progress and support strategies.
- Develop and implement individualized intervention plans.
- Assist in crisis intervention and prevention efforts.
- Maintain detailed documentation and comply with all state and federal regulations regarding student services.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to promote student success.
Qualifications:
- Valid School Psychologist credential/license.
- Experience conducting psychological assessments and interpreting results.
- Strong knowledge of educational laws and regulations.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Previous experience in a school environment preferred.
