Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A healthcare therapy role focused on supporting students’ developmental needs is available on a contract basis for the 2026/27 school year. This opportunity involves applying occupational therapy expertise within school settings and collaborating to enhance fine and gross motor skills in children.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct occupational therapy evaluations and interventions tailored to individual student needs.
- Develop and implement therapy plans targeting fine motor skills, gross motor skills, and overall functional development.
- Work collaboratively with educators, parents, and healthcare professionals to support student progress.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation consistent with school and healthcare requirements.
- Provide therapy services in a school environment with occasional home health components as needed.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Licensure as an Occupational Therapist required.
- Experience in school-based occupational therapy preferred.
- Familiarity with home health occupational therapy practices is a plus.
- Proven ability to assess and improve fine motor and gross motor skills in pediatric populations.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills to navigate school and healthcare settings effectively.
Location and Schedule:
- Position is based in Egg Harbor Township, NJ.
- Contract role offering 5-10 hours per week throughout the 2026/27 academic year.
