Best Buy Drugs is looking for a dedicated and patient-focused Retail Pharmacist to join our team. This role is centered on providing exceptional customer service while ensuring the safe, accurate, and efficient dispensing of medications in a fast-paced retail environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Accurately review and verify prescriptions prior to dispensing
Provide clear and professional counseling to patients on medications, including proper use, side effects, and interactions
Ensure compliance with all state and federal pharmacy regulations
Oversee and support pharmacy technicians to maintain efficient workflow
Handle insurance issues, prior authorizations, and customer inquiries as needed
Maintain inventory, including ordering and managing stock levels
Deliver a high level of customer service and build strong patient relationships
Qualifications:
Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree
Active pharmacist license in the state of [Insert State]
Strong understanding of retail pharmacy operations
Excellent communication and customer service skills
