Ascentec Engineering is hiring! We are an industry leading, AS9100C certified contract CNC machining services and assembly provider focused on low to medium volume production runs.


We are seeking a Semiconductor Account Coordinator to coordinate production and scheduling using an ERP system (Epicor). The selected individual will synchronize the ERP system with the customer portal, coordinate job movement within production to align with customer needs and expectations, and schedule orders within different groups.


This position is on site (not remote/not hybrid) and not eligible for Visa sponsorship or transfer of Visa sponsorship.

Requirements:


JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: To include but not limited to the following:

  • Prepares and updates daily schedules for resource groups
  • Work with the customer portal to align the needs of the customers to the orders within the system
  • Interact with all production departments to expedite/de-expedite customer requirements
  • Communicate schedule improvements/delays to customer through reports and customer portals
  • Coordinate work orders in process
  • Ensure on-time deliveries for all acknowledged and confirmed POs
  • Communicate discrepancies and potential schedule misses to customer
  • Support the overall health and improvement of the ERP system.
  • Support MRB process with appropriate response to issues with internal and supplier quality.
  • Support NPD/SMU launches

JOB QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE AND TECHNICAL SKILLS:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • One year of experience in production, scheduling, or customer service
  • Knowledge of lean concepts and kanban replenishment techniques such as complex mixed model flow, supermarkets, level loading, pull signals, min-max levels, Vendor Managed Inventory is preferred.
  • Ability to perform complex problem solving
  • Strong analytical, statistical and critical thinking skills Advanced experience with MS Excel and MS Word is preferred
  • Excellent skills in interpersonal relationships, communication and teamwork.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to speak and communicate effectively with both senior management and production.
  • Work independently and possess a high level of self-motivation and initiative.
  • Advanced knowledge of Epicor ERP preferred (or equivalent advanced knowledge of a comparable ERP software required)

COMPENSATION/BENEFITS:

  • Compensation DOE -- range is $50,000 to $78,000 per year
