Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and assess critically ill patients, implementing individualized care plans
- Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and hospital protocols
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including physicians, respiratory therapists, and other nursing staff
- Utilize advanced equipment and technology to track patient vitals and support life-sustaining interventions
- Provide emotional support and education to patients and their families during critical care episodes
- Maintain accurate and thorough documentation in compliance with regulatory standards
Qualifications and Experience:
- Current RN license with experience in an ICU setting required
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
- Ability to work effectively under pressure while maintaining patient safety and quality care
- Excellent communication and teamwork capabilities
- Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems preferred
