Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced and customer-focused Customer Service Manager to join a large distribution center in Sanford, Florida. This role is responsible for leading daily customer service operations while ensuring customers receive timely, accurate, and professional support. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, has strong problem-solving skills, and can effectively balance multiple priorities while maintaining a high level of accuracy. The Customer Service Manager will oversee customer communications regarding orders, shipment tracking, and issue resolution while supporting the team to ensure exceptional service standards are consistently met.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and track customer orders from entry through delivery to ensure timely fulfillment.
- Investigate and resolve customer issues, shipment discrepancies, and service concerns in a professional manner.
- Enter and maintain accurate customer and order information within company systems.
- Review reports and identify opportunities to improve processes and customer satisfaction.
- Maintain a high level of professionalism and composure in a sometimes stressful, fast-paced environment.
- Work independently while exercising sound judgment and decision-making skills.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of customer service experience, preferably in a distribution, logistics, manufacturing, or supply chain environment.
- Previous leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
- Strong background in order management and shipment tracking.
- Experience working with SAP is a plus but not required.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong data entry skills with exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Proven ability to remain organized and customer-focused in a fast-paced environment. While maintaining a positive and professional attitude.
