Assignment Details
- Start Date: ASAP (Urgent Need)
- Duration: 8+ weeks
- Schedule: Monday–Friday
- Hours: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
- Setting: Independent Retail Pharmacy
- Pharmacy Software: PioneerRx
- Volume: Approximately 100 prescriptions per day
Responsibilities
- Accurately dispense prescription medications while ensuring patient safety.
- Counsel patients on medication usage, side effects, and treatment plans.
- Address patient questions and provide exceptional customer service.
- Maintain controlled substance records and pharmacy inventory.
- Resolve insurance and third-party billing issues as needed.
- Serve as the sole pharmacist, overseeing daily pharmacy operations.
Qualifications
- Active, unrestricted Montana Pharmacist License
- Minimum of 1 year of recent pharmacist experience
- Strong retail pharmacy and patient counseling skills
- Ability to work independently and manage pharmacy workflow
