Summary
The Receiving Associate supports day-to-day warehouse operations by unloading, auditing, and staging incoming product, and by accurately receiving and accounting for inventory. The role ensures product is processed efficiently, stored safely, and recorded correctly upon arrival.
Essential functions
· Act in a manner consistent with the company's core values
· Unload incoming shipments and stage product for counting and inspection
· Audit deliveries against shipping documents and accurately complete all receiving paperwork
· Store product properly to conserve space and comply with safety procedures
· Oversee the rotation of inventory within the warehouse
· Operate a forklift safely and in accordance with company standards
· Complete all required department, equipment, and safety training, including company-provided forklift certification
· Demonstrate thorough understanding of and compliance with the company's safe lifting practices and standard operating procedures
· Perform other related duties as assigned by management

Work environment
· On-site warehouse setting in Timonium, MD
· Frequent exposure to a warehouse environment, moving vehicles, and varying temperatures
· Workdays are Monday through Friday.
Physical Demands
Ability to exert 30 – 60 pounds of force occasionally, and or 20-30 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 20 pounds of force constantly to lift, carry push, pull, or otherwise move objects. The employee is often required to use their hands and fingers, to handle or feel. The employee is frequently required to stand, walk, reach with arms and hands, climb or balance, and to stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.
Requirements:
Required qualifications
· High school diploma or equivalent
· Legally authorized to work in the United States
· At least 18 years of age (required for forklift operation)
Preferred qualifications
- 1-2 years of previous warehouse experience preferred
- Experience driving a forklift is preferred
