Facility Type: Mental Health and Substance Abuse Facility
Programs: Residential Facility, Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) and Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP)
Position Status: Non-Exempt
Responsibilities:
- Provide care and supervision to patients participating in the Residential, IOP and PHP programs.
- Support patients in day-to-day activities, ensuring a safe and therapeutic environment.
- Assist in implementing treatment plans and documenting patient progress.
- Facilitate group sessions and recreational activities as directed.
- Monitor patient behavior, providing immediate intervention as needed.
- Conduct and record drug testing, ensuring accurate and confidential handling of results.
- Drive patients to and from appointments or program activities as necessary, ensuring safety and compliance with transportation policies.
- Maintain vehicles in good working condition, coordinating regular maintenance and safety checks.
- Keep accurate records of vehicle use, maintenance, and fuel expenditures, submitting receipts to management.
- Adhere to all facility policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification or relevant experience preferred.
- Experience in mental health or substance abuse settings is advantageous.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a team environment.
- Proficiency in using electronic medical record systems (EMRs) is desirable.
- Must possess and maintain a clean driving record; a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) check will be conducted.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts and adapt to changing patient needs.
