Job DescriptionMinimum 1+ years school psychologist experience required.
A full-time School Psychologist position is available for the 20252026 school year, serving students from kindergarten through 12th grade in a public K-12 setting located in Washington, Indiana. This contract role runs from August 6, 2025, through May 22, 2026.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments to identify student needs and guide educational planning.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and administrators to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
- Provide counseling and intervention services to support student mental health and academic success.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to data-driven decision making.
- Offer consultation and training to school staff on behavioral and emotional issues.
- Maintain accurate records and comply with state and district regulations.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited institution.
- Valid state licensure or certification as a School Psychologist.
- Experience working within K-12 educational environments.
- Strong knowledge of assessment tools, intervention strategies, and special education laws.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively with diverse student populations and school staff.
