This full-time, full school year itinerant contract position is ideal for candidates who thrive in dynamic environments and are passionate about making a meaningful difference for students. Flexibility is essential, as you'll travel between multiple sites to support a diverse caseload while collaborating closely with educational teams.

You will also have the responsibility of supervising a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA), ensuring consistent, high-quality care. Bilingual Spanish-speaking candidates are highly encouraged to apply, as are those with previous experience in California schools. Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Valid California Physical Therapist license required
  • At least one year of pediatric or school-based PT experience preferred
  • Previous experience working in California school settings highly desirable
  • Bilingual Spanish language skills considered a strong asset
  • Ability to travel between sites within the district (itinerant position)
  • Previous supervisory experience or willingness to supervise PTA

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform evaluations and design individualized treatment plans for students
  • Deliver direct physical therapy services aligned with IEPs
  • Supervise assigned PTA, monitoring service quality and compliance
  • Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to optimize student outcomes
  • Maintain timely and accurate documentation per district and regulatory standards
  • Adapt swiftly to varied school environments and student needs
