Lead Carpenter – Historic Home Restoration & Remodeling
Location: Spokane, WA

Compensation: $35–$42/hour DOE + company work truck

Position Summary:
We’re hiring a Lead Carpenter to oversee and execute all phases of residential historic renovations. This role requires a strong balance of hands-on craftsmanship, leadership, and problem-solving. You’ll work directly with the business owner, manage select subs, and shape projects from the ground up.
Responsibilities:
• Lead on-site work including framing, finish carpentry, restoration detailing, and structural modifications
• Interpret blueprints, architectural drawings, and scopes of work
• Restore and replicate historic architectural features using traditional methods and materials
• Manage small teams and subcontractors as needed
• Maintain safety compliance and site cleanliness
• Interface professionally with clients and represent the company with integrity
• Track progress and uphold project timelines with minimal supervision
What We’re Looking For:
• 8+ years of residential carpentry experience (3+ years in a lead or supervisory role)
• Expertise in historic home restoration, remodeling, or fine finish carpentry
• Strong working knowledge of both traditional and modern methods
• Ability to read plans and communicate clearly with clients and crew
• Highly organized, self-directed, and dependable
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
• Physically able to lift 80+ lbs and perform all carpentry-related tasks
