Job Description:
We’re seeking a skilled and experienced NICU RN for a Level III+ Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. This is a high-acuity environment offering the opportunity to work in a state-of-the-art unit featuring 33 private rooms and two open bays.

Unit Details:

Beds: 40-bed NICU
Patient Ratios: 1:1 to 1:4 depending on acuity
Staffing: 24/7 unit secretary and MD coverage
Equipment: Jet-based HFV, NAVA ventilators
Charting: CPN primary, Meditech secondary
Float Policy: May float to Women’s Hospital units (Pediatrics >1yr, Newborn Nursery, tech support in Ante/Postpartum)

Required Experience & Skills:

Minimum 3 years recent experience in a Level III NICU or higher
Neonatal Phlebotomy experience required
Skilled in high-frequency ventilation (Jet or Oscillator)
Experience in neonatal surgical recovery preferred

Common Unit Procedures:

Circumcision
PDA ligation
Chest tube placement
ROP management
Total body cooling

Certifications Required:

BLS (CPR)
NRP

Dress Code: Navy scrubs
