PLC Controls Engineer
Position: 2nd Shift Manufacturing Engineer
Pay Wage: $ depending on experience
Schedule: 2nd Shift, 4:30pm - completion (out time varies on customer demand)
Responsibilities and Skills
- Responsible for improving and maintaining manufacturing equipment
- Implement and develop design for PLC and Control Logix programming, Servos, VFD and Hardware, HMI
- Review and maintain systems and identify improvements in the design incorporating trends
- Test Program operation to verify it remains functional
- Communicate with clients to address their concerns, troubleshoot and identify solutions to problems.
- Design new assembly equipment
- Help plan and coordinate manufacturing processes in the plant by developing, evaluating and improving manufacturing methods
- Analyze and Plan work force utilization, space requirements, workflow and design layout of equipment, etc
- Ability to work well under pressure
- Leadership skills, problem-solving skills and team-work skills
- Excellent communication skills
- All other duties assigned
Requirements:
Degree is Engineering or related field required
Automotive seating experience is preferred
Requires Mechanical & Electrical knowledge
Previous experience as a manufacturing engineer or similar role strongly desired

Education:
Bachelor's (Preferred)
Experience:
PLC: 2 years (Preferred)
Troubleshooting: 2 years (Preferred)
