Summary
The Procurement Assistant supports CAS Composite & CAS Engines by purchasing aircraft parts, materials, and services needed for daily MRO operations. This role requires experience in an FAA/EASA/UK-CAA regulated environment and strong knowledge of aviation documentation, supplier management, and traceability.
Key Responsibilities

Issue purchase orders and repair orders in Smart145.

Source approved suppliers and compare quotes for price, lead time, and compliance.

Track deliveries, follow up on delays, and support AOG requirements.

Verify trace documentation (8130-3, EASA Form 1, CAA, CoC, teardown/AR trace).

Coordinate with Receiving, QC, Production, and Accounting to resolve discrepancies.

Maintain accurate records, update ERP data, and assist with supplier performance tracking.

Support ISO 9001/FAA/EASA purchasing compliance requirements.
Requirements

Minimum 2 years of procurement experience in an aviation MRO or Repair Station (Part-145).

Strong understanding of aircraft parts, rotables, consumables, and tooling.

Knowledge of FAA/EASA/CAA certification documents and traceability.

Experience with ERP systems (Smart145 preferred) and sourcing platforms (ILS, PartsBase).

Excellent attention to detail, communication, and follow-up skills.

Ability to manage priorities in a fast-paced, production-driven environment.
Preferred

Experience supporting composites, nacelles, engine teardown, or accessories shops.

ISO 9001/ASA/AS9110 purchasing knowledge.

Bilingual English/Spanish.
