We are seeking a dependable Staff Pharmacist to support a closed-door long-term care mail order pharmacy located near Roanoke, Virginia. This 19-week contract position is well-suited for pharmacists who are detail-driven, comfortable with a high-volume setting, and ready to contribute to a consistent weekly schedule.

Position Details:

• Duration: 19 weeks

• Schedule: Four 10.5-hour shifts per week

• Hours: 9:00 AM 7:30 PM

• Environment: Closed-door, LTC mail order

Primary Responsibilities:

• Accurately verify and review prescription orders

• Provide oversight and guidance to pharmacy technicians

• Maintain compliance with state and federal pharmacy regulations

• Help ensure timely and accurate medication fulfillment for long-term care patients

Requirements:

• Active Virginia pharmacist license in good standing

• Minimum of one year of current pharmacy experience

• Must have long-term care experience

• Proven ability to work efficiently in high-volume or mail order settings

• Strong attention to detail and a collaborative mindset
