Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available within a K-12 school setting in Fremont, CA. This contract position is designed to cover a MAT leave and offers a consistent 40-hour workweek. You will provide essential speech and language support to students across two school sitesone elementary and one middle school.
Responsibilities include assessing, diagnosing, and treating speech and language disorders for a caseload starting at approximately 48 students, with the potential to increase to 55. You will collaborate with educators and families to develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and deliver effective therapy aligned with student needs. Additional caseload details will be provided as they become available.
Desired qualifications:
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
- Experience working in school settings (SLP-School)
- Effective communication skills with children and educational teams
- Ability to manage a diverse caseload and adapt therapy plans accordingly
