RN Position Job Notes:
Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work 3x12 or 4x12 hour shifts with holiday coverage required
\n• Must work 2 out of 3 major holidays
\n• Weekend coverage required
\n• Patient ratio of 2:1 for days, nights, and weekends
\n• Care for adolescents, infants, and pediatric patients
\n• Floating within hospital or to affiliate hospitals is 100% required
\n• Charge pay opportunity available with $3.00 per hour increase
\n• 2 years of experience required (18 months minimum with exceptions)
\n• Required certifications: BLS, PALS
\n• Indiana nursing license must be in hand prior to start date
\n• 2 supervisor references required
\n• First time travelers accepted
\n• Skills include administration of blood products, care of ventilated patients, central line care, infection control, dysrhythmia interpretation and management, pediatric dosage calculations, and PICC line management
\n• Work with interdisciplinary team including physical therapy, respiratory services, interpretation services, radiology, pharmacy, and unit secretary
\n• Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions only)
\n• Cerner charting system experience preferred
\n• Graduated from ACEN or CCNE accredited nursing program required
