Teacher for the Visually Impaired (TVI) - Hours-TBD/ On-site position - Denver Area, CO
Blazer Jobs is actively interviewing experienced Teachers for the Visually Impaired (TVIs) for a school-based contract opening in the Denver Area, Colorado for the 2026/2027 school year. This position is on-site only, with assignment details and campus placements to be determined based on district needs.
Responsibilities:
• Provide specialized instruction for students who are blind or visually impaired
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) aligned with student needs
• Adapt instructional materials for braille, low vision, and accessible learning formats
• Support student independence, mobility, and functional academic skills
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and related service providers
• Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
• Maintain accurate documentation and progress monitoring
Requirements:
• Active Colorado Department of Education (CDE) Certification required
• Prior experience working with visually impaired or blind students preferred
• Ability to work on-site and collaborate within a school team
• Must complete district background check and fingerprinting requirements
