Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A contract opportunity is available for Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) to provide on-site services within multiple schools in Bradenton, FL. This role requires placement across four schools, each serving diverse student populations, including those with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and Exceptional Student Education (ESE) needs.
Assignment Details:
- Locations: Ballard Elementary, Sea Breeze Elementary, Harvey Elementary, Abel Elementary
- Start Date: ASAP (Abel Elementary begins March 2026)
- End Date: 5/29/2026
- Schedule: 3 full-time SLP roles and 1 part-time SLP role available
- Caseload: Students from preschool age with specialized needs, including ASD classrooms and various ESE programs
Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language evaluations, develop treatment plans, and deliver therapy services tailored to individual student goals
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support students communication skills
- Maintain accurate documentation following state and district guidelines
- Participate actively in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings
Qualifications:
- Valid Florida SLP license required
- Masters degree preferred; Bachelor's degree considered for CFY candidates
- Candidates with Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) highly preferred
- Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates welcome; Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) are not eligible
- Experience working in school settings an asset
