PURPOSE OF JOB:
This position Provide manufacturing support for existing products and assist with transfer of products to manufacturing. It will Develop and improve production capabilities for manufacturing.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develops manufacturing processes and related tooling for new products and product changes.
- Provides line support, trouble-shooting, and coordinating repair of equipment.
- Performs validation activities for processes and equipment.
- Prepares document change orders and coordinates implementation of changes including training operation team members.
- Improves manufacturing process instructions; assure manufacturing processes and related documentation follow established policies and procedures.
- Creates and modifies component, assembly, or fixture drawings using SolidWorks.
- Writes and executes process and equipment related validation protocols/reports.
- Performs or coordinates equipment maintenance per manufacturer’s instructions and established procedures.
- Completes accurate and timely documentation/records including manufacturing related forms and data sheets.
- Support company goals and objectives, policies and procedures while adhering to Good Manufacturing Practices, quality system requirements, and FDA regulations.
SKILLS FOR SUCCESS:
- Adaptable to a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail and focus on the identification of potential issues and continuous improvement
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency with MS Office, SolidWorks, and Minitab
REQUIRED EDUCATION:
- Bachelor’s or technical degree in a related engineering field
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
- 1+ years of internship experience as a Manufacturing/Process Engineer
- 2 years of experience in a Medical Device Industry high preferred; catheter-based experience in a plus.
- Lean manufacturing experience with knowledge of lean manufacturing methods and procedures is highly preferred

The actual base pay is dependent on several factors, including, but not limited to, work experience, market data, skills, geographic location, and business needs. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. This role may also be eligible for equity.
