Looking for a flexible job where you can make a difference in your community? Teachers Now is hiring dependable Substitute Teachers to support schools across the Dallas area.
No teaching certification is required. If you have at least 60 college credit hours or an Associate’s Degree, you may already qualify.
As a Substitute Teacher, you will help maintain a positive learning environment when regular teachers are absent by following lesson plans, managing classroom behavior, and supporting student engagement.

Responsibilities

Deliver classroom instruction using lesson plans provided by the teacher

Maintain a respectful and organized learning environment

Manage classroom behavior and encourage participation

Supervise students during lunch, recess, and transitions

Assign and review classwork and homework

Record attendance and communicate concerns to school staff

Support school staff in maintaining a safe and productive classroom
For long-term assignments, substitutes may also develop and deliver lesson plans aligned with the school curriculum.
Schedule
Availability: Monday through Friday
Full Day: 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Half Day:

7:00 AM – 12:00 PM

12:00 PM – 4:00 PM
Schedules may vary depending on grade level and school needs.
