PACU RN (Post-Anesthesia Care Unit Registered Nurse) is responsible for monitoring and caring for patients recovering from anesthesia after surgery, ensuring their safety and comfort during the recovery process.
Key Responsibilities

Patient Monitoring: Continuously assess patients' vital signs, consciousness levels, and overall condition as they recover from anesthesia. This includes observing for any side effects or complications related to anesthesia.

Medication Administration: Administer pain management medications and other necessary treatments to alleviate post-operative symptoms such as nausea and discomfort.

Documentation: Maintain accurate records of patient progress, including vital signs and any interventions performed, and communicate findings to the healthcare team.

Patient Education: Provide information and reassurance to patients and their families regarding post-operative care and recovery expectations.
- Collaboration: Work closely with anesthesiologists, surgeons, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care and facilitate timely interventions when necessary

Emergency Response: Be prepared to respond to emergencies, such as airway or cardiac complications, ensuring patient safety at all times.
Must have 1+ year of PACU Exp\nMust have BLS, ACLS and PALS - AHA
