Job DescriptionOur client is seeking a detail-oriented Bookkeeper to support essential accounting operations in Columbus, OH. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys variety, values precision, and brings a strong foundation in bookkeeping and accounting practices. This position will offer a mix of general ledger accounting as well as supporting accounts payable. This position will sit onsite on the west side of Columbus. This company offers a supportive and laid back environment.
Responsibilities:
- Reconcile key accounting activities
- Process accounts payable functions, including vendor payments, invoice tracking, and resolving billing discrepancies with external vendors.
- Collaborate with the accounting team on reporting needs, audits, and ongoing bookkeeping tasks as assigned.
- Prepare and process sales and use tax filings
- Reconcile corporate credit cards
Qualifications:
- At least 3 years of experience in bookkeeping, AP/AR, general ledger, or related corporate accounting functions
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel (formulas and formatting)
- Experience with QuickBooks required
- Strong analytical ability with follow-through on issue resolution
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail; able to manage multiple deadlines
Pay Details: $53,000.00 to $58,000.00 per year
