Based in the greater Pittsburgh area, we are a leading manufacturer of steam clean generators, tube bundles, packaged water heaters, pressure vessels, and tanks for the plumbing and heating systems and industrial processes. We have been in business for over 90 years and have established ourselves as a reputable and reliable manufacturer.
Position Overview
We are seeking a knowledgeable and highly skilled Technical Support Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional support and guidance to customers, focusing on HVAC systems, pressure vessels, and related components. This role will involve troubleshooting, resolving technical issues, and ensuring customer satisfaction with our products and services.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical support to customers regarding HVAC systems, pressure vessels, and associated components.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to electrical systems, water heaters, steam generators, and plumbing.
- Collaborate with OEM manufacturers to ensure product reliability and performance.
- Conduct training sessions for customers on proper use and maintenance of products.
- Document customer interactions and technical issues in the support database for future reference.
- Assist in the development of technical documentation and support materials.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in a technical support role, preferably in HVAC or manufacturing industries.
- Strong knowledge of pressure vessels, electrical systems, and industrial components.
- Experience with OEM manufacturing processes and standards.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
- Effective communication skills to explain technical concepts to non-technical customers.
- Relevant certifications in HVAC, electrical systems, or related fields are a plus.
