Job DescriptionQuality Engineer
We are seeking a detail-oriented and driven Quality Engineer to join our team in Jackson, MN. In this role, you will play a critical part in ensuring product quality, improving processes, and driving continuous improvement across manufacturing and supplier operations. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to support production, new product launches, and field performance, while ensuring compliance with industry standards and customer expectations.

Type: 6-9 month contractShift: Weekdays 6:30am-3pmPay: $31/hr. - $34/hr.
Responsibilities:
- Support production by applying data-driven problem-solving, defect reduction, and process capability analysis to maintain consistent product quality.
- Lead quality activities during new product introductions, including planning, risk assessment, and validation for smooth manufacturing transitions.
- Manage supplier quality by conducting audits, evaluating incoming materials, and driving corrective actions to achieve continuous improvement.
- Improve field quality by analyzing warranty and service data, identifying systemic issues, and implementing long-term corrective actions with cross-functional teams.
- Ensure compliance with customer, regulatory, and internal standards through documentation, audits, and application of quality tools such as FMEA, SPC, and 8D.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes and quality management systems (ISO 9001, IATF 16949).
- Proficiency in quality tools, statistical analysis, ERP systems, and QMS platforms.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Preferred: Certifications such as CQE, Six Sigma, or Lean Manufacturing are a plus.
