Join our clinic team as an Medical Assistant, where you’ll play a key role in delivering an exceptional patient experience. You’ll manage phone inquiries, schedule appointments, verify insurance, prepare charts, and support clinic operations to ensure seamless care.
Responsibilities:
- Professionally handle inbound calls from current and prospective patients, turning inquiries into scheduled appointments.
- Resolve patient questions and issues promptly, ensuring satisfaction and retention.
- Coordinate with the center on patient concerns and follow-ups.
- Prepare and organize surgery charts, ensuring all necessary documents are received.
- Manage scanning, faxing, filing, and other administrative tasks efficiently.
- Maintain clear and accurate communication, including taking and relaying messages.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED with 1–2 years of related experience, or equivalent education/experience.
- Punctual, reliable, and able to meet deadlines.
- Strong phone communication skills with the ability to explain benefits and services clearly.
- Professional, positive approach to customer service and conflict resolution.
- Adaptable in a dynamic environment and quick to problem-solve.
- Open to feedback and continuous improvement.
- Experience with medical practice software (e.g., NextGen) is a plus.
- Bilingual in English/ Spanish is a plus.
