Key Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive care to patients and families throughout various stages of life.
- Develop and update patient care plans, ensuring coordination among different healthcare disciplines.
- Engage in shared accountability and collaborative decision-making regarding nursing practices.
- Ensure the safety and comfort of both mother and baby during labor and delivery.
- Execute the Standards of Nursing Practice, including assessment, nursing diagnosis, outcome identification, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Experience in high-risk labor and delivery is essential.
- Proficiency in fetal monitoring and antepartum care is required.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in a relevant setting is necessary.
- Current certifications in BLS and NRP are mandatory.
- Familiarity with the Epic electronic health records system is required.
Working Conditions
This position involves a travel component, requiring flexibility in scheduling and adaptability to various clinical environments.
