Job Description\n
American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist with at least 1 year of recent home health experience and a current state license for a home health assignment.
\n \n Responsibilities\n
- Work in home health settings across specified counties including Sonoma, Marin, Contra Costa, Alameda, Santa Clara, San Joaquin/Stanislaus, and Sacramento
- Patient population includes home health and geriatric patients, with wound care cases
- Typical schedule is Monday through Friday, day shifts from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
- No weekends or required on-call shifts; on-call may be discretionary
- A minimum of 23-24 patient visits per week is expected
- Charting is completed in the clinic using Kinnser/WellSky; cannot be taken home
- Any color scrubs and closed toe shoes are required
- Mileage reimbursed according to IRS standard from first to last patient
- Primary responsibilities include providing patient-centered care for home health and geriatric patients, including wound care
- Clinicians should be self-starters, punctual, and efficient with documentation using provided tablets
- All charting must be completed in clinic with no work taken home
- COVID vaccine is required, but religious declination is allowed; flu vaccine may be declined with documentation
- Free residential parking is available
- Locals are accepted within a 50-mile radius
- All time off requests must be submitted at the time of application, with no additional requests accepted post-offer
- Contract duration is 4-6 months, with a 6-month minimum required for less experienced clinicians

- Minimum 1 year of recent home health experience and 2 years' total clinical experience
- Active state Physical Therapy license required; license must be in hand at time of consideration
- Current BLS certification required
- No negative actions on license
- First-time travelers are accepted
- Ability to cover additional or surrounding counties as needed
- All compliance documents must be completed prior to patient care
- Two professional references from a supervisor within the past two years are required
