ResponsibilitiesPatient Care and Assessment: Conduct patient histories, perform physical examinations, and assess presenting illnesses, risk factors, and psychosocial situations.
Diagnosis and Treatment: Order and interpret diagnostic tests, develop and implement treatment plans, and diagnose both acute and chronic conditions.
Medication and Procedures: Prescribe and administer medications and injections in accordance with state laws and practice guidelines. Perform minor in-office procedures and manage wound care.
Patient Education: Instruct and counsel patients and their families on disease management, preventive care, and healthy lifestyle choices.
Collaboration: Work closely with physicians and other team members to ensure continuity of care and make appropriate referrals to specialists.
Documentation: Maintain accurate and timely electronic medical records for all patient encounters.
