The Accounting Clerk position will report directly to the Controller and offers the right candidate a unique opportunity to be directly involved in the growth and success of UPLIFT Desk, and provides significant career growth opportunities.
What You'll Bring
- 2+ years of NetSuite experience a must (please do not apply without NetSuite experience)
- 2+ years of Accounting experience
- A complete and comprehensive understanding of GAAP accounting practices and procedures.
- Excellent communication, time management skills, and attention to detail required
- Strong background in A/R and Collections
Bonus Points For
- Some college or college degree
- Familiarity and experience with sales tax a plus
- Experience with Google mail, Google Chat, Google Meets, Google docs / sheets a plus
- Ability to multi-task with a wide variety of customer needs
- Good under pressure
What You’ll Do
- High volume A/R and A/P
- Verifying claims and processing refunds
- Purchase order verification
- Assist with customer credit application setup
- Collect and maintain sales tax exemption certificates
- Deposits and post daily bank activity
- Billing and collections
- Process high volume invoices
- Supporting staff by performing any assigned accounting and clerical tasks
