Commercial Project Manager
Located: Salt Lake City, UT
Position Overview
You will lead multiple concurrent construction projects with an annual total value of $12-$20 million. Acting as the primary strategic liaison for clients, you'll oversee all phases of project delivery-from pre-construction through closeout-while ensuring operational excellence and building lasting client relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage commercial construction projects from start to finish.
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure project specifications and timelines are met.
- Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring adherence to financial controls and cost management practices.
- Prepare and present project status reports to stakeholders, highlighting progress, risks, and issues.
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor project progress and quality of work.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and building codes throughout the project lifecycle.
- Identify and mitigate project risks and issues proactively.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial project management within the construction industry.
- Proven experience with financial controls and budget management in construction projects.
- Strong leadership and communication skills to effectively manage teams and stakeholders.
- Familiarity with project management software and tools. Procore and/or Sure Track Scheduling is preferred.
