Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
An opportunity is available for an Occupational Therapist specializing in school settings, with assignments located in Absecon, NJ. This role involves travel to serve multiple educational sites, providing valuable support to students requiring therapeutic intervention.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and evaluate students' occupational therapy needs within the school environment.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to support students' functional abilities related to education.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to promote student success.
- Document progress and adjust therapy plans based on student development.
- Ensure compliance with relevant educational and healthcare regulations.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid Occupational Therapist license with a focus on pediatric or school-based practice.
- Experience working in school environments is strongly preferred.
- Strong assessment and intervention planning skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Flexibility and willingness to travel between school locations as required.
Location:
- Assignments will be based in and around Absecon, NJ, with travel to various school sites in the region.
