MRI Technologist – Full-Time & Part-Time (FONAR Upright MRI)
Locations: Deerfield, IL, and Hazel Crest, IL
We are seeking an experienced and motivated MRI Technologist to join our growing imaging team at our FONAR Upright MRI facility. This position is available for both full-time and part-time schedules.
About the Role:
You’ll operate our FONAR Upright MRI scanner, performing high-quality diagnostic imaging procedures while ensuring patient safety, comfort, and care. You’ll work closely with radiologists and referring physicians to provide exceptional imaging services.
Responsibilities:

Perform MRI exams on the FONAR Upright MRI system according to established protocols

Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures

Ensure patient comfort and safety throughout the exam

Review images for quality and accuracy before submission to the radiologist

Maintain accurate records and documentation

Assist in maintaining equipment and work area cleanliness
Qualifications:

ARRT(MR) or ARMRIT certification (required or eligible)

Experience with FONAR Upright MRI preferred (training available for qualified candidates)

Strong communication and patient care skills

Reliable, detail-oriented, and professional
