Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and patient-centered Physician Assistant (PA) or Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join our collaborative and multidisciplinary clinic. Our practice follows a self-pay model and does not accept insurance, allowing us to focus on personalized, in-depth care without insurance limitations. In this role, you will provide comprehensive patient care, manage both acute and chronic conditions, and work closely with a diverse team of healthcare professionals. The ideal candidate is confident practicing autonomously while also thriving in a team-oriented, holistic care environment. This position blends clinical expertise, patient education, and leadership, ensuring high-quality, compassionate, and proactive healthcare services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess, diagnose, and treat patients based on history, symptoms, physical findings, and diagnostic test results.
• Manage acute and chronic health conditions, including infections, injuries, hypertension, and diabetes.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on clinical guidelines and patient needs.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests, including lab work and imaging studies.
• Prescribe medications as legally authorized while considering efficacy, safety, and cost.
• Educate patients on disease prevention, lifestyle modifications, and self-management of health conditions.
• Maintain thorough and accurate medical records, including treatment plans and prognoses.
• Counsel patients regarding medication regimens, potential side effects, and interactions with supplements or OTC medications.
• Advocate for accessible healthcare and provide patients with resources to support their well-being.
• Refer patients to specialists when conditions exceed scope of practice or expertise.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals within the practice to deliver comprehensive, high-quality care.
• Stay up to date with current medical guidelines, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.

Qualifications:

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) License and Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) (for Nurse Practitioners)
• Family Nurse Practitioner Certification (FNP-C) or Physician Assistant Certification (PA-C)
• Ability to practice independently and in collaboration with a healthcare team
• Strong diagnostic and critical thinking skills
• Excellent communication and patient education abilities
• Knowledge of relevant state laws, reimbursement policies, and payer systems such as Medicare and managed care
