Job DescriptionSUMMARY:
Are you passionate about animal nutrition and making a difference in the lives of animals? In this role, you will play a critical part in the production of high-quality animal feed supporting the health and well-being of animals. RALCO is looking for a Production Specialist to label, and package backyard chicken products in preparation for delivery to distributors. This position will be responsible for manually applying labels to products, packages and containers. RESPONSIBILITIES:
- LABELING: manually apply labels to products, boxes and containers
- QUALITY CONTROL: Inspect products and containers for damage, defects, or errors, ensuring compliance before and after labeling
- PRODUCT HANDLING: Obtain, sort and place products or materials into containers
- DOCUMENTATION: Read batch tickets, record information and maintain packaging documentation
- WORK AREA MAINTENANCE: Keep the work area clean and organized
- TEAMWORK & COMMUNICATION: Collaborate with team members and report any problems to the supervisor
SKILLS:
- Loading containers with product
- Affixing labels in proper location and in compliance with standards
- Detail-oriented with focus on quality and safety
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment
- High level of finger dexterity - coordination
- Able to follow written and spoken directions in English
- Analytical and critical thinking skills

PAY: $16.50 - $17.50 / hour (determined by qualifications and experience)
HOURS: Day shift (6am - 4:40 pm) - flexible scheduling
