ProTrade is seeking an experienced Commercial HVAC Technician to join our team. This is a full-time position focused primarily on commercial work (90%), with occasional residential supervision (10%). You'll be provided a company vehicle with gas covered and can expect steady, reliable work with trusted contractors in the area. Most travel stays within a 2-hour radius.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and troubleshoot commercial HVAC systems
- Service, maintain, and repair glycol chiller systems
- Oversee and supervise commercial HVAC installations
- Coordinate with contractors and project teams on-site
- Ensure code compliance and quality workmanship throughout
- Provide residential HVAC supervision as needed
Requirements
- Hands-on commercial HVAC installation experience
- Glycol chiller knowledge and service background
- Strong commercial troubleshooting skills
- Ability to lead and oversee installation crews
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- EPA 608 Certification preferred
Schedule & Compensation
- 40 hours per week
- On-call availability required — 4-hour minimum pay guaranteed
- Weekly pay at competitive rates
- Travel primarily within 2 hours
