Snapshot of key accountabilities of the Health Center Manager:

  • Provide strong leadership and daily operational oversight of health center activities.
  • Supervise, train, and support staff to ensure optimal performance, patient flow, and adherence to quality standards.
  • Oversee scheduling, supplies, and inventory management to ensure efficiency and service excellence.
  • Promote a workplace culture rooted in equity, inclusion, and our core values.
  • Monitor and achieve productivity, revenue, and customer service goals.
  • Coordinate and ensure ongoing staff training in medical protocols, workflows, billing, insurance, and patient care.
  • Address patient concerns professionally and promptly using REACT tools and affiliate policies.
  • Serve as a mentor to team members and a key point of contact for escalated patient or operational issues.
  • Conduct observations and evaluations of staff to reinforce best practices and identify improvement areas.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory and affiliate standards (OSHA, CLIA, AHCA, PPFA, etc.).
  • May provide direct patient care when needed, including education, lab work, and follow-up coordination.
  • Uphold high standards of safety, cleanliness, and accessibility across the center.
  • Complete all required training and onboarding activities and maintain certifications (e.g., BLS).
  • Work flexible hours including evenings and weekends based on center needs.


Experience/Education of the Health Center Manager:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university or equivalent work experience.
  • Previous healthcare office management experience strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated success in leading, managing, and developing teams.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and decision-making skills.
  • Passion for and commitment to reproductive health and rights.
  • Comfort discussing sensitive topics including sexuality, contraception, STDs, and pregnancy options.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office; EMR/EHR systems knowledge is a plus.
  • Community networking experience strongly preferred.

Benefits and Compensation:

  • Salary range for Health Center Manager: Starting at $60,000.00 per year – with final compensation commensurate with experience.
  • Eligible for all applicable benefits effective the first of the month following 30 days from your hire date
  • Paid Time Off accrues immediately but can't be taken until after 90 full days of employment: We value work-life balance, offering generous PTO and holidays.
