Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) Certification and minimum 2+ years Surgical Tech / Operating Room Tech experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A surgical tech position is available working with a dedicated team in a specialized Spine, Hip, and Joint Preservation Center. This contract role offers the chance to support complex orthopedic surgeries in a well-equipped operating room setting focused on spine fusions, ALIFs, and total joint replacements.
Location:
Situated near Lone Tree, CO, within a modern healthcare campus, the facility includes three ORs focused on spine and joint surgeries along with an International Hip Preservation Center. The center features advanced equipment tailored for orthopedic procedures and serves a highly specialized patient population.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in spine and joint surgical procedures including fusions, ALIFs, and joint replacements
- Prepare operating room and surgical instruments for orthopedic cases
- Collaborate with surgical team members, including RNs and physicians, to maintain sterile field and patient safety
- Support patient positioning and equipment setup specific to spine and joint surgeries
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Must have experience as a Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) or Surgical Tech in orthopedic surgical settings
- Proven scrub tech skills specific to spine and joint procedures are required
- Experience with general surgery is a plus but not mandatory
- Flexible availability to cover call shifts as required
Schedule:
- Day shifts: 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM with availability Monday through Friday; weekend call only
- Option for 10- or 12-hour shifts, with no overnight call required
