Summary
We are seeking dependable Substitute Early Childhood Educators to provide classroom coverage on an as-needed basis in our infant, toddler, and preschool programs. This role helps ensure safe, consistent care and learning when regular staff are out. Experience in early childhood settings is preferred.
Duties
Provide classroom coverage as needed.
Support daily care, play, and learning for infants, toddlers, and preschoolers.
Follow classroom routines, health and safety guidelines, and licensing requirements.
Collaborate with teaching staff to maintain a safe and supportive environment.
Assist with diapering, toileting, feeding, naptime, and transitions.
Help keep classrooms clean and organized.
Requirements
High school diploma or GED required.
Experience working with young children.
Willingness to work with multiple age groups.
Reliable, flexible, and able to respond to short-notice needs when available.
Must meet state and local licensing requirements, including background checks.
Ability to stand, sit, kneel, lift up to 50 lbs, work indoors and outdoors, and actively engage with children.
Nice To Haves
CDA or ECE coursework.
Substitute or floater experience.
