Job DescriptionAccounting Administrator
Department: Finance
Reports To: Director of Operations
Purpose
To ensure accurate and timely financial operations, compliance with Sanctuary Recovery Centers' fiscal policies, and support for organizational goals through efficient accounting administration.
Scope
This position applies to all financial activities within Sanctuary Recovery Centers, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and reporting functions.
Responsibilities

Accounts Payable & Receivable
- Process invoices, payments, and reimbursements in accordance with company policy.
- Maintain accurate transaction records and reconcile accounts monthly.

Payroll Administration
- Assist with payroll processing and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.
- Maintain confidentiality of employee payroll data per HIPAA and Sanctuary Recovery Centers' privacy standards.

Financial Reporting & Compliance
- Prepare monthly financial statements and assist with audits.
- Ensure adherence to internal controls and fiscal compliance requirements.

Administrative Duties
- Organize and maintain accounting files in accordance with record retention policy.
- Support tax filings and regulatory reporting deadlines.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance preferred; or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 3 years of accounting or bookkeeping experience.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Physical Requirements
- Ability to sit for extended periods and work on a computer.
